Biography

I have been painting for over thirty years, and my pictorial research develops on both a conceptual and spiritual level. Over the years, I have explored the profound relationships between form and essence, between human beings and the universe, between time and that which transcends it; a quest for the connection between matter and spirit, between self and other, between the visible and the invisible.
My painting unfolds in CYCLES as a synthesis of a "human universe," placing the Anthropos at its center: not as a figure, but as a place of experience and transformation. I paint not to represent, but to activate. The canvas becomes a place, a delimited space in which to develop a path, which I define as a "Path of the Imaginable," at times labyrinthine, didactic, or symbolic. Through this path, I regain the Memory of the true Self, to regain the ability to see beyond. Imaginable beyond subjective imagination, to reconnect the Anthropos to what profoundly belongs to it: creative capacity. A journey backwards that projects itself into the present, embodying the figure of the ferryman, who accompanies the viewer toward their own awakening and turns them into Active Observers.
Each WORK is conceived as a living presence, created to resonate. Not just something to be observed, but to be felt. My work combines intuition, color, and structure to generate balance, belonging, and creative energy. Each painting is conceived as a space to be inhabited: not just something to be looked at, but a presence capable of transforming the environment and the perception of those who inhabit it.
After a pivotal period in Greece, I returned to Italy in 2001 and opened my own studio in Tuscany, where my work developed in direct dialogue with the public. Over time, my works have entered the homes of numerous collectors, creating profound connections and bringing not only aesthetic value but also experience, identity, and meaning to their spaces.
